エイミー・ワインハウスの元夫、突然の死にショックを受ける

エイミー・ワインハウスの元夫、ブレイク・フィールダー=シヴィルが、元妻の死で悲嘆にくれているという。

ブレイクはエイミーの死の翌日、7月24日「僕やエイミーを知る人は皆、僕たちの愛の深さを知っていました。エイミーが死んだなんて信じられない」とコメントを出している。ブレイクはまた、エイミーの死を知らされ、一時的に気を失っていたという。

英大衆紙『サン』によると、ブレイクは現在、強盗と銃刀法違反の罪で刑務所に服役中。エイミーとブレイクは、エイミーが大ヒット・アルバム『Back to Black』でブレイクした直後の2007年に結婚し、2009年に離婚していた。

2人の結婚生活ははた目からも決して順調といえるものではなく、彼らはたびたび、アルコールや薬物の依存、さらに出血すらあるような激しいケンカを繰り広げていた。実際のところ、ブレイクは2009年に英『デイリー・メール』紙に対し、「僕はエイミーを抱き寄せた。彼女は僕の腕の中で息を引き取るんだろうと思っていたよ。エイミーが自分の目の前で死んでいくのは耐えられなかった」と衝撃的な告白をしている。ブレイクは周りの人から、エイミーに薬物を与えた張本人だと非難されており、エイミーが当時死にかけたのも、ヘロインとコカインの過剰摂取によるものだったとか。

一方、ブレイクよりもさらに悲しみの底にいるのが家族だ。タクシー運転手からジャズ歌手に転身した父親のミッチさんは、25日に予定されていたニューヨークでのコンサートをキャンセルし、急きょイギリスへと帰国。妻のジャニスさんらと共にエイミーの自宅周辺を訪れ、集まった報道陣やファンに感謝の気持ちを表したという。

なお、エイミーの葬儀はユダヤの教えにのっとり、本日7月26日に行なわれる予定だ。
