125極太マユ毛のシンデレラ!? エマ・ワトソンが出演するランコムのCMがついに公開

5月に製作が発表されていたエマ・ワトソン出演の、ランコムの香水「Tresor Midnight Rose」のCMがついに公開された。舞台はパリの街角で、エマが駆け巡るのは、ホテル・ド・クリヨン、セーヌ川、そして古きよき本屋。2分に満たない映像の中で、ボーイ・ミーツ・ガールの物語を堪能できる。
ある日、エマは訪れた本屋で、書店員の青年に出会う。エマは本を購入し、本屋を去るが、黒いハットを忘れてしまう。その夜、フランス人の青年は、エマのハットを持って街へ出る。あるカフェに入ると、道をゆくエマを見つけ、青年は急いでエマを追いかける。パリの街を駆け抜けるエマに青年が追いつくと、青年の頭に乗っていたハットが、まるで魔法のように宙に浮き、エマの頭にすっぽりと落ちる、というのがこのCMのストーリー。シンデレラの「ガラスの靴」の役割を「黒いハット」が果たしていると言えるだろう。
さて、公開されたばかりのこの映像の評判を見てみると、コンセプトも美しさも申し分はないのだが、「あまりにもベタすぎる」という意見が多いようだ。そして、開始5秒で現れるエマの極太マユ毛にも注目が集まっている。髪をオールバックになでつけ、赤い口紅に極太マユ毛、というハーマイオニー感のまったくないエマの新境地を、祝福する声と心配する声が飛び交っているようだ。
パリの夜景よりも美しいマユ毛を誇るエマ。ぜひともこのまま元祖・マユ毛女優であるオードリー・ヘップバーンを超えるような大女優に成長してもらいたいものだ。
