DALIDAダリダ。本名ヨランダ・ジリオッティ(1933年1月17日-1987年5月3日、エジプト生まれのイタリア人)。戦後フランスで活躍した女性歌手の一人。国内で最初にディスコミュージックを流行らせ、歌とダンスを複合させたコンサートも女性では初めて公演。生来の美貌に加え抜群のスタイル、独特の歌声で「待ちましょう」「18歳の彼」「雨のブリュッセル」「歌い続けて」など数えきれない名曲を生んだ。しかし歌手としての栄光の裏では恋人が3人も自殺し、私生活で常に暗い影を落とす。ついに1987年5月3日「許してください。人生は辛すぎる。」と書置きを残し睡眠薬自殺をした。
