ダニエル・ラドクリフ、新作ラブコメで「恋心を隠し続ける男性」に！

新作ホラー・サスペンス『ザ・ウーマン・イン・ブラック/The Woman in Black』にクレームが殺到してしまったダニエル・ラドクリフ。今度は方向転換して、ロマコメ作品に出演することがわかった。

ダニエルはこの作品『ザ・エフ・ワード/The F Word』で、恋してしまった女性チャントリー（演じるのはゾーイ・カザン）とプラトニックな友人関係を続ける男性、ウォレスを演じる。＜Variety＞によると、2人はパーティーで出会いお互いに強く惹かれるのだが、チャントリーには長年の恋人がいるため、友達どまりでいようとするとか。

ダニエルにとって本格的なロマコメ作品はこれが初めて。『ハリポタ』シリーズが終了してからは、『How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying』でブロードウェーミュージカルに挑戦したり、新作『キル・ユア・ダーリンズ/Kill Your Darlings』ではビート文学を代表する詩人アレン・ギンズバーグに扮している。

対するゾーイは、7月25日にアメリカで公開される映画『ルビー・スパークス/Ruby Sparks』で出演と脚本を担当した。『ザ・エフ・ワード』はこの夏の終わりにクランクインの予定。

ハリポタとは真逆の役に挑戦するダニエル
