125クリスティーナ・アギレラ、「ザ・ヴォイス」降板を示唆！「アーティストに戻れなくなる...」

アメリカの人気リアリティ番組「ザ・ヴォイス」のシーズン3が今週からスタートするが、審査員の1人であるクリスティーナ・アギレラが、番組を降板する可能性を示唆しているようだ。
クリスティーナは＜Billboard＞誌のインタビューで、「番組に出演したことによって、自分の音楽を生み出したいと言う気持ちから離れてしまったの。私ではない他の誰かの旅に参加するのは楽しかったし、音楽業界に足を踏み入れようとする人達にインスピレーションを与えるのも素敵な仕事だったと思う。でもアーティストに戻れなくなるんじゃないかって心配しているのよ」とコメントした。
ちなみに、このような危惧を抱えたリアリティ番組の出演者はクリスティーナが初めてではなく、「アメリカン・アイドル」の審査員を務めたジェニファー・ロペスも、「番組のために沢山のことを犠牲にしてきたわ」と発言しており、同番組に出演していたスティーヴン・タイラーも、番組を愛人に例え、本業であるバンドへと復帰している。
しかし、クリスティーナは、将来的に「ザ・ヴォイス」に復帰する可能性はゼロではないとし、「多分戻ってくると思う。今は少し自分の仕事をしたいの。その後で戻れば、審査員としてもっと良い仕事ができると思うわ」とコメントしている。
現在クリスティーナは、ニュー・アルバム『Lotus』を制作中で、今月14日には先行シングル「Your Body」が発売される。アルバムは11月のリリースが予定されている。
