一生懸命でかわいい!マシュマロが大大大好きなキツネが、もらってとった意外な行動とは?

キツネとマシュマロ...あまり思いつかない組み合わせですが、子ギツネのときにケガをして、動物保護施設で育ったこの子にとっては赤ちゃんの時からの大好物なんだそうです。白いフワフワのお菓子を普段はめったにもらえないそうですが、この日、特別にどっさりもらえた彼は...。


これがマシュマロが大好きな飼い犬だったら、興奮して喜んで、ガーッと全部食べてしまいそうですが、このキツネ君はけっこう慎重にかみしめて食べます。そして、十分食べたという段階になると、別の行動へ。

こんなご馳走を、いっぺんに食べるのはもったいない!というのでしょうか、ここ掘れワンワンの逆で、あちこちに埋めて隠し始めます。鼻に土をつけてせっせと埋める様子が可愛らしいのですが、念入りに場所を分散するところも何とも言えません。(いろいろと「次はどこに...?」と考えているようにも見えます。)

YouTubeの見出しによると、こうして後のために余った食べ物を隠すのはキツネの習性だそうです(ご存知の方もあったかも知れません)。保護されている環境でも、こんな風に生来の行動を促すことは生活を豊かにするので、好物で試してみたんだとか。「普段はこんなにあげませんのでご心配なく!」とのことでした。

ちなみに、幼い時に保護されたためこのキツネは特に人なつこくなっていますが、本来はペットにすべき動物ではありませんので(「咬むし臭いしいろいろメチャメチャにして大変です」と書いてあります)、このビデオを見て「かわいい!飼いたい!」などとは思わないでくださいね、とも注意書きがありました。思った皆さん、かわいいビデオをご紹介してすみませんでした!
