『ロック・オブ・エイジズ』のジュリアン・ハフ、虐待を受けた過去を告白

同情を求めているわけではなく、自分の経験を話すことで辛い経験を打ち明けることができない人達の代弁者になりたいというジュリアンは、いじめの具体的な内容については語らなかったが、思春期を迎えたときにはいじめがエスカレートして脅迫を受けるまでに。
「アメリカに帰れば、3つのことが起きると脅されたの。ひとつ目は、自分は何者にもなれないということ、ふたつ目はファストフード店で働くことになるということ、そして最後は売春婦で人生を終えるということ。だから私は帰るに帰れず、セクシーな人物になるしかなかったのよ」と振り返っている。
尚、過去に辛い経験をしたセレブはジュリアンだけではない。『新ビバリーヒルズ青春白書』のアナリン・マコードや、アシュレイ・ジャッド、マリア・メノウノスなども過去に性的虐待を受けたと告白している。
