進化する中国のカンニング方法と監視体制、学生からは「試験難しすぎ」と逆ギレの声も

中国で6月7日、8日で高考(GAOKAO)と呼ばれる全国統一大学入試が実施され、900万人以上の学生が挑戦した。

日本のように一次試験があり、大学や専攻ごとの試験が行われるわけではなく、事前に政府が優良と指定する大学を2校、それ以外の大学2校、専門学校を選び、この試験の成績に応じて各大学の合否が決まる仕組みとなっている。さらに日本では考えられないが、特に地方出身の学生のほうが都市部の学生よりハードルが高く設定されているなど、特別な環境と人口の多さから世界一大学進学が難しいとも言われる。

これだけ困難を極めると、増えてくるのはカンニングだ。カンニングと言えば消しゴムやペンケースの中にカンニングペーパー等をしのばせることを想像するが、時代に応じてその方法も進化してきている。この時期になるとネット掲示板に様々な方法が投稿され、中国学生のなかでも話題になる。


投稿されているカンニング方法を幾つか紹介しよう。

■透明なセロハンテープに文字を移す方法
①まずパソコンでカンニングしたい字を入力

②文字の大きさのポイント数を小さくする。

③印刷する

④透明のセロハンテープを印刷した紙の文字の上から貼る

⑤文字が印刷されているところをカットして、水につける。

⑥紙がふやけてきたら、手でこすりながら落とす。

⑦紙を綺麗に落として乾かせば粘着力が戻る。

⑧ボールペンなど透明なものに貼り付ければより見やすい。

これで透明な「カンニングペーパー」の完成だ。

■カンニング用受信器の数々
液晶付き消しゴム

外部から答えやヒントを入力してもらい、受信する消しゴム式のもの。ううむ...。

■小型イヤホン型レシーバー

耳の中に潜ませておける音声小型受信機。最近のものはさらに小型化しており、カンニングに利用する学生があとを絶たない。去年の入試には鼓膜を破って受信機が入り込み、手術を余儀なくされた大学生もいたという。

現在ではスマートフォンや携帯があればどこでもあらゆることが調べられたり、計算ができたりする時代であり、そういった端末を持ち込んだり、上記のような受信機を使い、より巧妙にカンニング行う学生がますます増えてきている。

もちろんそうしたカンニングの行為を阻止すべく、監視体制も日々厳格化しており、今回はなんと入試前に金属探知機で学生の身体を調べたり、ワイヤー付きのブラジャーの着用を禁止したり、指紋照合機も導入。いたちごっこの様相を呈しているが、試験もカンニング対策も世界一となってしまっている。


こういったカンニングの横行について、ネット上には

「科挙制度からの悪しき慣習だ」
「中国人は結局詰め込みすぎで、社会人になってから全く使えない」
「これだけのプレッシャーが尊い命を奪っていくんだろうな」

とカンニング行為というよりも、そもそもの試験制度における批判的なコメントが多く寄せられているところである。
