【犬動画】子ヤギにミルクをあげる犬が献身的すぎると話題


これまで「サーフィンをする犬」「計算をする犬」「車を運転をする犬」などがネット上で話題となってきた。今回紹介するのは、まるでマザー・テレサの様に献身的な姿勢が特徴の犬である。


藁の上には愛嬌ある顔立ちが特徴のブルテリア。そのブルテリアが履いているのは、2本の哺乳瓶が取り付けられた特殊な「ミルクパンツ」。なぜだか分からないが、彼女のミッションはお腹を空かせた2匹の子ヤギへの授乳である。

腰のミルクを求めて突進してくる興奮したヤギたち。そんなヤギたちにも動じる様子のないブルテリアの凛々しい佇まいは、まるで藁の上に舞い降りた天使の様にも見えてくる。



ヤギたちの身体能力の高さにも驚かされるが、ブルテリアの我慢強さも相当なものである。ヤギたちのしっぽのフリフリ具合と比較すると、ブルテリアのしっぽは真っすぐに垂れ下がった状態。これは犬のボディランゲージの一つで、簡単に言えば「気分が悪い」状態であると推測できる。

そう思うと、少々かわいそうではあるが見ている分には楽しいこの動画、ネット上の反応は?

「かなり訓練されているが、哀愁がただよい過ぎ」
「なんて我慢強い犬なんだ」
「ブルテリアは好き。ヤギも好き。でもこの動画の意味が分からない...」
「...なぜ?なぜ?」

と、何を目的にとられたか分からないこの動画への困惑がうかがえる。

子ヤギとは言え、自分と同じサイズの生き物が一心不乱に迫ってくれば、さすがに怖いのは犬も同じ。それでもこの犬が逃げようとしない理由はただ一つ、「ご主人様からの命令」だからであろう。犬の忠誠心を垣間見ることのできる動画の一つである。

The archipeligo of 16-28 separate islands (depending on the tide) make the summer home to approximately 100,000 pairs of breeding seabirds including around 36,000 Puffins, 32,000 Guillemots and 2,000 pairs of Arctic Terns. The species of birds which nest in internationally important numbers include Shag, Sandwich Tern and Arctic Tern. The coastline around The Farnes are also the breeding ground to one of Europe's largest Grey Seal colonies with around 4,000 adults giving birth to 1500 pups every year.
