https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGuIG_K2uoo

Tammy Kautzer pets her prairie dog Chuckles June 9, 2003 in Dorchester, Wisconsin. Tammy, her husband Steve and three-year-old daughter Schyan are in quarantine at their home as they recover from contracting monkeypox from a second prairie dog that has since died. The Kautzers have decided to keep Chuckles because it is believed they are immune from contracting the disease again. An official at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention answered questions regarding the viral disease monkeypox, which is thought to be spread by prairie dogs. The monkeypox virus has been detected in the Americas for the first time with approximately 20 cases reported in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.
